Why support the NPDA?

Despite its official designation as a Chicago DFA, the Norwood Park Dog Park does not receive any money from the park district or city of Chicago for upkeep of the park.

 

The physical space requires repairs, new stones and cleaning supplies. Not to mention storage in the dog park for supplies.

Our website costs money to maintain.

Hosting events for the community costs money (Halloween Party, St. Francis Day Pet Blessing, Pictures with Santa etc.). We love hosting events at our lovely dog park!
